Has held leading management and financial positions in New Zealand, having worked closely with New Zealand’s top automotive industry entrepreneur , Mr Colin Giltrap, for the past 18 years, culminating in a position as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for DaimlerChrysler NZ Limited. The position also incorporated the role of COO. The companies the applicant has been responsible for over this period have all enjoyed spectacular success, as vehicle registration statistics easily prove.

Highly skilled in all facets of the automotive business world, including management, strategic planning, finance, marketing and administration. He is accustomed to working very closely with the Board of Directors.

Full working knowledge of the structure of Import and Distribution entities, having had joint responsibility for the start up of at least two companies. This includes not only the import and marketing of new vehicles, but also logistics to support such product (spare parts, service, warranty etc). His position has also been responsible for the Human Resources area, in which he holds an excellent track record.

After this rewarding and successful 18 years, he decided to take his family on a long planned world trip, primarily before his sons became too old and committed to college studies. Therefore, he resigned just over a year ago, but not after installing a replacement structure for his position.

After a year of travelling and adventures, he is hungry for a challenging and rewarding Interim Management position in the United Kingdom, or environs, as he is keen to share his expertise, and experience the top end business scene here.

Prefers a 3 to 6 month contract, but obviously would consider other periods should the position so demand.

Limited Company and Professional Indemnity Insurance available.
