I am one of the owners of a flightschool in Florida. In 2003 I have spend 4 months setting up and running this company. I was introduced to foreighn systems, customs and culture. Not only the American systems but we do a lot of business with international students (France, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, China, Italy, etc). This requires a differrent appoach per country. The website and marketing in differrent countries has been set op by me and within 6 months we managed to make a profit.

Responsible for turnover, profit, marketing activities, new products, negotiations with new partners, people management, up to date knowledge of products with sales force, problem solving, supporting sales force.

1999 - 2002 Owner, pilot and Director
Setting up airplane management for several clients and selling and planning flights within Europe.

Software company for transport and warehouse systems.
Responsible for new business, marketing, fairs and increasing sales from existing clients.

Achievements:
Sales target, every year new clients and gained the greatest order ever (within this company) by selling a warehouse management system to a new client. Better communication between sales and programmers by teaming up with a technical group.

I was asked to set up a product department next to the network service division.
By doing market research for several products we decided to introduce educational software. This software was imported from Israel and translated from English to Dutch by myself.
I have set up a dealer network in The Netherlands and Belgium for this software and did marketing for this range of products. After one year there was a dealer network of 40 dealers and higher numbers of software sales every month.

Distributor for networking products, computers and components.
Responsible for their dealer network in the southern part of The Netherlands. Introducing new networking products and supporting dealers with sales in their area.

Achievements:
Sales according to target. Promotion to country dealer manager.

Setting up a new business and dealer network for program language ZIM from Canada. Marketing, training, demonstrations of the product and add-on’s, fairs and visiting the annual summit in Canada was my job description.
