My present job as Senior Vice President in a Global
Trading & Supply Chain Management company, adds
the area of "Services" to an otherwise predominantly
"manufacturing" sector background of close to 30
years. As an advocate of businesses adopting
technology, I have been often invited at conferences
in Singapore, China and India(CII) to talk on E-Commerce
and Supply Chain Management.

I have over five years of truly rich experience in
managing the Asian region, with particular emphasis on
China. Since I first worked in China in 1995, when I
was assigned by Gulf Oil International-London to make
the Business Plan for China and later having set up
and managed Gulf Oil China, I have acquired considerable
expertise on the country, the business, the nuances,
the culture and the language.

My overall sector experience spans FMCG,
Pharmaceuticals, Foods, Sports & Fitness, Water
Treatment, Automotive & Industrial Lubricants, Car
Care products and now the most recent Global Trading &
Supply Chain Management.

The responsibilities handled were in Sales &
Marketing, Advertising, Profit Center Management,
Start-Ups and Turnaround, Asia Business Development
and Hands-on China Management.

As a matter of interest, I am comfortable with 6
