Starting with reorganising an existing company, 4 private businesses were acquired and integrated (processes, cultures, organisations). Business was developed up to a solid turnover and revenue and 300 staff. Strong commercial relations were build in the realm of the energy-market and of housing-corporations. Commercial Manager
1998 – 1999 Gas company at Zeist
Setting up a commercial service outlet within the traditional setting of a utility company at the dawn of the opening of the Dutch utilities market and the privatising of utilities companies.


International Account manager
1993 – 1998 Dutch Railways, refurbishment workshop Haarlem.
Setting up the international marketing and sales activities for the Haarlem company (particularly Scandinavia, Germany and Benelux). Main propositions were damage repair and refurbishments of passenger coaches. Developing and maintaining business relationships, search and acquisition of projects, contracting and after sales. This has been an era of entrepreneurship and exploring, at the dawn of an emerging international rolling-stock market and liberalisation of the public transport market in Holland.
