As Quality Director, I was responsible for both product quality improvements and general business process improvements of the Media & Entertainment Division. My most important realization is the successful introduction of a structured NPI (New Product Introduction) methodology, focused on delivering innovative, high-quality products, within an ambitious time-to-market constraint. Being responsible for general business process improvements, I also became familiar with most business processes in an industrial environment.

For the development of a client-server configuration and quotation builder for a large storage rack manufacturer, I did an in-depth analysis with the customer to come to a detailed product specification.
After the acquisition of a new subsidiary by a large photo print company, the subsidiary’s existing B2B web shop needed to be rewritten as to integrate it with the main company’s SAP back-end. I was responsible for the initial planning and budgeting, the daily project management, and the final roll-out.
For one of the largest Belgian rug and carpet manufacturers, Andersen developed a web-based, custom ERP system for one of their subsidiaries. I was responsible for the initial scope determination, the project planning and budgeting, the project management, and roll-out.
For a Belgian insurance company, I was responsible for the migration of a legacy mainframe database (Adabas) to an Oracle environment.
