It is the largest partner in training and certification for Microsoft, Novell, CompTIA, CIW and Thompson Prometric John is full responsible for establishing the Sales-, operational organization, business partner network in the Netherlands and grow revenue and customer base.
In this role I am responsible for targeting the right market segments, strategizing Accounts, closing deals and visit targeted potential- and current customers.
Customers included: ABN AMRO, ING, Cap Gemini, Stork, BASF, Corus, Philips, Sony, HP and Getronics.


Quality Partners Zoetermeer, Netherlands 1998-2002

- Quality Partners International was the holding company of: Professional Training Partners, Professional Support Partners and Professional Partners in Consultancy.
- The three units delivered IT trainers, products and consultants to the Dutch market.
John was co-founder and share holder of the business; brought
many UK and US based products and services to the European
Market. The business was sold within twelve months after it was started in 1998. John remained managing director.
Customers included: Computrain, Azlan, Committed Consultancy, Landis, Getronics, Tulip and 4U.

In 1998 John was hired by Pearson/VUE/NCS as EMEA Interim Consultant to build the market. Pearson/VUE/NCS is based in Minneapolis USA.

In 1998 John was hired by USWEB/CKS as EMEA Interim Marketing Consultant to advise how to develop the EMEA market.
USWEB/CKS is based in Santa Clara, California USA.

As Regional Sales Director John achieved the highest revenue in EMEA in 2000 for GTS.

- Azlan is the leading pan-European value added distributor of network computing products and services.
After acquisition of AKAM by Azlan John was promoted from the Benelux operation to develop the European activities and implement specific sales and operational programs.
As corporate consultant the activities i.e. sales, marketing, logistics, fulfillment, go to market strategy covered twelve countries in Western Europe.
John reported directly to the board of directors.

- AKAM was a leading value added distributor of network computing products and services.

In this role John was responsible for all commercial and operational activities in the Benelux. John reported to the share holders.


Maildex Breda, Netherlands 1986-1993
In capacity of: Manager Fulfillment
- Maildex was a holding company of the mail-order activities of Vendex International with operations in six European countries.
The Fulfillment department was involved in delegating buyers of soft- and hard goods world wide.
John managed this department with nine employees reporting to him. Annual purchasing value was approximately € 90 million per year. Activities i.e. open and amending of Letters of Credit, certificate’s of origin, export licenses, customs, and shipping instructions from supplier to several warehouses in the six countries, negotiations with sea-, air- and road carriers.
Extensive contacts with suppliers in different regions of the world i.e. Far East, USA, Brasil, India and Pakistan.

In this role John was responsible for all controlling activities in the distribution Center.
John reported directly to the director op the distribution center.
