As a highly ambitious and self-motivated graduate, I have successfully managed a number of challenging assignments and projects in the IT and media sector. Through my experience at SAP, I developed excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. As a pro-active team player, I enjoy taking the initiative and motivating others. WORK EXPERIENCE

Jan 1999 to Aug 2001

Assistant to the Project Manager (Government of Zimbabwe SAP Implementation)
- Achieved customer satisfaction through client relationship management with senior government officials for the PFMS (Public Financial Management System) project. This project was of strategic importance to SAP because it was the first government-wide implementation of the mySAP.com solution in the world
- Involved in the strategic planning for the different phases of the project implementation
- Facilitation of steering committee meetings with key decision makers for the project
- Successfully ran the SAP end-user training programme for over 800 government employees, including scheduling courses and liasing with the various government departments
- Sourcing local and international SAP certified trainers to run the courses whilst ensuring that the growing needs of the client were managed within the scope of the project

Marketing Co-ordinator, SAP Central Africa Region (Zimbabwe, Zambia & Malawi)
- Client relationship management through various marketing media
- Strategic planning and execution of the marketing plan for the Central Africa region
- Responsible for the organisation and management of promotional activities for product launches
- Development and management of a client and partner database
- Setting up and running the Zimbabwe Chapter of the SAP User group and co-ordinating all its activities

Training Co-ordinator, SAP Central Africa Region (Zimbabwe, Zambia & Malawi)
- Success in single-handedly setting up and running the first SAP training centre outside South Africa. Managed to turn the new Training Centre into a profit-making unit generating ZAR1.5million (200,000pounds) within the first year of its operation
- Introduced creative ways of generating a steady revenue stream from the training facilities during off-peak seasons in training
- Successfully managed relationships with hardware providers for support services
- Able to capture student comments and implement improvements to the facilities over time
- Organised the first SAP certification dinner at a five-star hotel for all certified students (a first of its kind within SAP worldwide)

1997 to 1998 Account Manager (trainee) at NCR Zimbabwe
- Generating revenue through hardware sales to customers in the banking sector (ATMs) and public sector
- Preparation of quotations for customised hardware and network solutions
- Assisted in the planning of computer hardware installation projects
- Involved in compiling winning hardware tender documents
- Successful account relationship management as evidenced by results from customer satisfaction surveys
