Job responsibilities:
Member of the management team that supported the CEO with advice to restructure the USA and Chinese subsidiaries. This project implies to change the scope of the Chinese subsidiary and to expand business opportunities in the USA. Recommended and supported a key ERP implementation (despite finalizing an ERP implementation 9 months ago) finalized November 2004. Restructuring and improve of the head office finance department and IT (total 5 fte), consolidation and monthly- and annual reporting, responsible for foreign exchange and hedging activities

Outcome: Clear presentation strategic options foreign subsidiaries. Decision not to proceed with Chinese subsidiary (Retail). Continue with a Chinese Representative office (Wholesale). Expand business in USA and settle all legal and fiscal affairs (transfer pricing) Set up an efficient financial department including foreign currency management and MIS.
