Result: Contracts with several Uk high street retailers.

SALES & MARKETING DIRECTOR Duration 12 weeks full-time
To develop a sales & marketing plan after investigating the sales process, influencing elements to the buying decision, recruit trade channels, recruit staff, write communications and launch a new range of personal care products to the UK high street. Leading & managing the corporate sales and marketing staff in both tactical and strategic issues. Providing a field resource for tactical and operational issues in terms of the business process and sales management. Corporate Brand management including media / investor relations, PR and copywriting of all group literature.
Result: Increased turnover by 50% within 9 weeks.

COMMERCIAL MANAGER Duration 18 weeks full-time
To develop a brand proposition and positioning statement for a manufacturer of Emergency lighting products, aimed at appealing to the Sheds. Providing a central internal consultancy resource for tactical and operational issues in terms of ‘launching’ this business into this sector. Corporate Brand management including media / investor relations, PR and copywriting of all group literature
Result: Contracts with B&Q and Homebase valued at £30 million

HEAD OF NEW PRODUCT MARKETING Duration 12 weeks full time role: off-site
To develop and select new product ranges for a new market venture to drive market and corporate development, including media / investor relations, PR and copywriting of all literature, action plan formulation, sales recruitment and formal launch. FMCG market.
Result: Proved market worth, client founded Uk subsidiary as a result. Estimated T/O now ~ £55 million.

MARKETING DIRECTOR Duration 6 weeks full-time: off-site
To develop a marketing plan, recruit trade channels, design packaging, point of sale material, recruit staff, write communications (PR/Ads/Direct mail) and launch a new range of aromatherapy products to the UK highstreet. Leading & managing the corporate marketing staff in both tactical and strategic issues. Providing a central internal consultancy resource for tactical and operational issues in terms of business start-up and management. Corporate Brand management including media / investor relations, PR and copywriting of all group literature.
Result: New markets totalling £10.8 million across Europe.

HEAD OF NEW PRODUCT MARKETING Duration 3 months full-time role: off-site
To develop and select new luxury FMCG product ranges for a new market venture to drive market and corporate development, including media / investor relations, PR and copywriting of all literature, action plan formulation, sales recruitment and formal launch.
Result: Contracts totalling £42 million with high street retailers and specialist outlets.

HEAD OF MARKETING - Full time first month then 3 days a week for 2 months
To re-build the corporate marketing function and to design and develop a marketing services function at local office level to drive market and corporate development. Corporate Brand management including media / investor relations, PR and copywriting of all group literature, marketing recruitment, presentations, tenders and image library. Managed a team of 9. Professional Services market.
Result: Recruited and trained new staff. Direct mail/telemarketing campaign resulting in £3.0 million of orders for period 2001-2003. Oversaw PR/marketing issues during acquisition of two smaller competitors and opening of new London office.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER Duration: 3 months full-time
A leading friendly society with a strong presence in the IFA market and a growing consumer presence employing over 200 staff. Interim 'Product Development Manager' to deliver a new savings / investment product for high net worth individuals, leading a multi-functional team of 20 and with an appreciation of the marketing communication aspect of product launches.
Result: product netted an ROI of 55 times in first 6 months of operation.

HEAD OF MARKETING – net based business Duration: 2 months full-time
The development of strategies for the promotion of the XXXXnet portal with specific focus on; Increasing the subscriber base to the portal, The promotion of relationships which will foster banner advertising and B2C E commerce offerings, the promotion of the XXXXnet as a service supported by the XXXX Group Ltd, the development and management of public relations.
Result: portal launched on time, customer base was increased by 75% in 3 weeks.

INTERIM MARKETING MANAGER Duration: 8 weeks 2 days a week
Rebranding of a restaurant chain owned by a leisure company, and internal management development via workshop to increase customer understanding and how to increase the appeal to regular and new customers through staff workshops and consumer diagnostics.
Result: 30% increase in staff retention, 50% increase in customer satisfaction levels, 25% increase in T/O.

EUROPEAN MARKETING VICE PRESIDENT Duration full time for 2½ years
All aspects of Marketing and Corporate Development to achieve an integrated sales & marketing approach through formulation and development of marketing strategy for the European business units, major focus on direct marketing and branding through PR/Advertising. Managed a team of 18. FMCG & B2B markets.
Result: New markets totalling £2.6 million in 1998-99 in standard products and £5.8 million in fibre optics. 3625 sales leads in 1998, 3105 in 1999, resulting in 1250 new active accounts, yielding 32% GM, ROI of 7.5 times.

I have also undertaken a number of E-business assignments;

I have launched a number of new Internet service businesses; two industry portals, two membership services sites and three e-businesses in addition to improving the marketing for several existing sites. I am an accomplished e-marketer who understands the nuances of the on-line market.
