Waste Management Denmark. 1993 - 1996:

Danish subsidiary of Waste Management International plc. The company was engaged in Waste Management and Logistics and employed approx. 500 employees.

Position and key responsibilities: Accountable for the planning, implementation and control of the company‘s acquisitions and the subsequent alignment of Business Concepts and internal practises. I was managing director of 3 subsidiaries during this period.


SAS Service Partner (SSP) A/S. 1983 - 1993:

SSP was until 1993 a subsidiary of Scandinavian Airlines System. SSP employed 7,000 people and provided catering and related services to airports, hospitals, oil rigs etc.

Position and key responsibilities: International Executive, i.e. senior executive assigned to the below senior management positions within SSP subsidiaries.

1992-1993 General Manager, Jeddah Airport, Saudi Arabia. Upgrading and management of 15 sales outlets (restaurants and cafeterias).

1989-1992 Managing Director, SAS Service Partner - Hospital Catering A/S, Copenhagen, Denmark. Business development and management of 7 professional consultants in hospital catering and patient hotel management.

1983-1989 Operations Manager and from 1985 Managing Director, Skyliner Services Ltd., London Heathrow Airport, United Kingdom. Accountable for the development of the company from a small owner/manager-company to a modern, professional service company.

ISS Centre for Management Development was formed to offer training of the ISS Group of com-panies’ junior and senior managers. ISS is one of the largest contract cleaning companies in the world.

Position and key responsibilities: Export Manager to Africa and the Middle East. My tasks were to identify sales agents in new markets and to set-up sales and distribution network. I was based for 4 months in Kinshasa, DR Congo.
