GROUP LOTUS INTERNATIONAL LTD Automotive manufacturer and Engineering Consultancy, turnover of £170m p.a. and over 2000 staff.Director of Finance & Commercial Operations - Responsible for all Finance, New Business Development, IT and Site Facilities Management, played a leading role in the planning, direction and strategic development of the business as well as managing shareholder relations.
 Was the prime mover in increasing profits from £1m to £13m p.a., winning new business and initiating major profitability improvements by re-engineering manufacturing processes and applying Activity Based Costing to overhead cost reduction. Introduced Tax Planning, saving £1.5m overseas payments and unlocking £2m accumulated UK tax losses. Directed the acquisitions and integration of 2 companies in US & UK. Devised Treasury Management Systems, which generated interest savings of £100k pa and foreign currency gains of £1m. Arranged £80m funding for new products and business growth.  Set up new business streams in Niche Vehicles, Niche engines and Composites.
