International Finance Executive with 15 years + experience in audit and senior financial management

Last assignment with industrial 8 Billion US organisation:

VP Finance Europe, reporting to the European President and Global VP Finance

Main responsibilities:

- Consolidation of all European locations financials
- Coordinate forecast across group ensuring accuracy
- Defining and executing the European Motion controlling strategy
- Track and report status of strategic initiatives and develop financial countermeasures as appropriate
- Lead financial part of strategic planning process. Ensure that results from initiatives are properly scoped and presented
- Generate the annual budget by managing expectations and results of operating companies
- Run and develop the existing management information system providing business relevant and timely information
- Develop financial personnel to grow professionally
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with operating company CFO s, Presidents and their staffs
- Ensure full transparency to identify potential problems in an early stage and recommend solutions
- Support European President/Group Executive in acquisition and integration of new businesses; e.g. financial due diligence or project management
- Responsible for European IT (global strategy execution)

Education

1. Degree in Business Economics - Tilburg University (1989)
2. Registered Accountant (Dutch equivalent of CPA) - Tilburg University/NIVRA (1991)

- Establishing international financial shared service centers in both high cost and low cost regions. This includes outsourcing and business partnering
