May 2001 – June 2002 (2-3 days p/w) Shadow manager/Coach
Shadow manager/coach to the technical- and general manager involved in the strategic development of a new CRM application. Developed a new market/customer approach for the product. Coaching on necessary knowledge, competencies and abilities needed for this new approach. Designed a review and reward system fitting the new approach.
Organized and moderated multiple strategic meetings to arrive at a shared vision of this approach and to define product spec’s.

June/July 2001 (1 day p/w) Mediator
Mediating a works conflict for an Arts school. Developed basic concepts that where used as a basis for further talks between parties involved. Resulting in effective cooperation between parties.

Realization of a strategic change program for the Open Universiteit Nederland. Program management for two workgroups, moderating Metaplan® meeting to determine the content, shape and implementation of the desired changes.

July 2000 – January 2001 (4 days p/w) Senior Management Consultant/Coach
Design, shape and implement countrywide contract management during the commercialization of a branch of the former employment office.
Design and run various workshops, simulations and training events for colleague consultants. Gathered data on the need for more flexible work/compensation conditions. Designed a practical way of implementing the flexible work/compensation plan.
Coaching of in and external colleagues. Designed and executed multiple Metaplan® workshops to deal with strategic and operational planning, problem-analysis and -solving.

1998 – July 2000 (4 days p/w) Senior Management Consultant/Coach
Prepared, started and implemented a major cultural change program as a precursor for a major reorganization for one of the largest Dutch Telecommunications company.
Designed and executed multiple specific events to support the implementation of this cultural change program. Managed several projects aimed to help shape the desired culture. Acted as HRM manager during the design of one of the new units, designing and implementing job descriptions, competence profiles and compensation/benefits levels. Matching present employees to these functions, managed the application process for available vacancies. Coaching and counseling of 50 employees who could not fit into the job structure of the new unit, managed the process of finding them another job within the company.

Designed and moderated teambuilding activities for the various management teams and units. Prepared and moderated multiple policy and strategy setting meetings (woods meetings).

Coaching of managers and employees as individuals or in teams to achieve better individual or group affectivity.

Designed and executed a service improvement project for customer complaints. Working with all involved organizations created a temporary call center to relieve pressure from the existing organization. Arranged for temporary personnel and staff, training and coaching making this organization operational within four weeks. Discontinued the temporary call center after 6 months, anchoring the improvements in the existing line organization.

Coaching an implementation team. Enabling them to implement a new hard- and software tool in such a way that both engineers and managers working with it gain maximum benefits from it. Designed various workshops and training events for the implementation team, management and engineers.

1997 – 1998 (4 days p/w) Senior program manager
Restarting a nearly failed new services introduction for the board of directors to the largest Dutch telecommunications company sales and marketing group. Trouble shooting, work- & process analysis, redesign and re-energizing of organizations/people involved. Setting up Service Level Agreements between all parties involved in the process, negotiating content and signing of SLA’s. Coaching individuals and organizations on how to effectively cope with these changes. This company is making a cultural shift from selling product to providing services and managing customer satisfaction. Together with this cultural shift, it is facing competition for the first time.

1996 – 1997 (4 days p/w) Interim HRM Manager
Design and implementation of job and reward structures for a joint venture of two telecom companies whom, together, will compete with the largest Dutch telecom provider.
During the integration responsible for negotiating and solving labor conflicts. Coaching, training and managing operational HRM officers. Design and implementation of compensation and benefits program. Consulting to, and support of, directors and staff regarding HRM related issues.

1995 - 1996 (5 days p/w) Senior Organization Consultant
Designing, describing and implementing a new organization for the operations organization for the Mobile Network Services of the largest Dutch telecommunication company.
Setting up and (managing of) the execution of the implementation plan consisting of the design to be implemented, impact/risk/environmental analysis, soll/ist analysis as well as all aspects of communication, relocation, Human Resources Management planning (including the generation of job descriptions and the (re)placement of employees), company resource planning, training and education planning and responsibility matrix. Executing project management for multiple consultancy assignments. Managing the project team in which team members originate from various organizations and have diverging skills, knowledge and experience levels. Coaching of individual project team members.

Designed and implemented a company wide written customer reaction treatment procedure on request of the general manager for the largest Dutch telecommunication company.
Designed and implemented a company wide escalation and communication procedure in case of disturbances in their mobile communications networks, for the same company.

Coaching and training of (junior) consultants for both own company and client organizations during organization analysis, change management and implementation assignments.
Developing and implementing a standard implementation approach and a consultancy skills training.

Moderated an interactive system design project for an information system on request of the Home Office.
