KPN Mobile Customer Operations, Manager Order2Cash (2012-2013).
I was overall responsible for the billing and collections of the mobile consumer market (brands KPN, Hi and Telfort) with a total revenue well over 1.5 billion Euro. With my team (6 fte) we controlled the process including shared service centers and IT. I was assigned to:
(a) re-secure business continuity after a severe crisis and a critical audit report in 2011.
(b) maximize customer satisfaction on the mobile bill.
(c) reduce the call ratio on billing and collections.
(d) reduce the percentage of customers receiving a paper bill form 30% to 10%.

I advised the Board of KPN Business Market on Machine2Machine developments, negotiated on new regulations with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and initiated a €15 million project to implement the new regulations.

My area of expertise was radio communications, both fixed (terrestrial microwave) and mobile (GSM). Very active in the international standardisation of fixed radio networks (ETSI in Europe, ITU world wide), leading several international working groups and negotiating with regulators, operators and system vendors to come to agreed and useful standards.

Education

University: Electrical Engineering at the Delft University of Technology (ir / MSc) in 1988. My thesis on wireless communications was awarded a national prize by the Royal Institute for Engineers (KIvI).

In 1991, I’ve got certificates on Marketing at the Open University, equivalent to NIMA A and B.

I continuously trained my (ICT-) knowledge, communicative skills and management skills.
Most determining management trainings have been a 3 weeks middle management exchange with Deutsche Telecom (1993) and the 3 weeks General Management Program dedicated to KPN Top 200 potentials, in the year 2000.

A weekly highlight is coaching the soccer team of my youngest daughters.
