Assessment of proposed organisation structure for this multi-formula retailer in the Czech Republic enabling it a profitable growth and proposing possible potential to improve within the total organisation

3. Swiss furniture retail organisationProject manager
conducting a Business Process Re-engineering project to enhance customer service and reduce costs. Purchasing and the supply chain are re-designed in order to be able to sustain the leading position in the Swiss furniture branch. Responsible for the design and implementation of the Business strategy, Supplier strategy (incl. Productmanagement), Logistic strategy (incl. Crossdocking), and Organisation structure.

4. Swiss manufacturer of High voltage test equipment
Project manager, conducting a Business Process Re-engineering project with three business units simultaneously with a 20% cost reduction target and a 50% lead-time reduction target.

5. European manufacturer of frozen foods and ice-cream
Conducting an Efficient Consumer Response, Value Chain Analysis study with an European, UK based manufacturer.This study identified major improvement areas within the Supply Chain. The study was executed in co-operation with the ECR board Europe and contained a close assessment within three distribution channels of a sample of products from 5 major productgroups.

6. Major Dutch Bank
Evaluation of the current costs of maildistribution to all customers by the Dutch Royal Mail.
Using an activity based costing approach to the analysis of the maildistribution supply chain to all outsourced distribution activities. Designing alternative ways of distribution to reduce costs and improve total bottomline performance.

I gained senior level management experience as Plant Manager in the furniture industry and as Marketing Manager Europe-Africa at Shell Service International. Before I started Interim Management I was Managing Director at Opstalan BV, an industrial market leader with 250 employees. At Opstalan I was responsible for a turn around that brought the company 35% more profit in a declining market.
