Quadrem a truly global solutions provider within the of supply chain market with products aimed at ensuring efficiency gains across the entire procurement stack, ranging from catalog procurement and sourcing to electronic invoicing and supply chain financing.
Manager Financial Solutions, 2008 to August 2009
Responsible for product development for all financial solutions within Quadrem, the products that were under my supervision are Electronic Invoicing and Archiving and Supply Chain Financing. I was in charge of maintaining the relationship between our partners, clients, local Tax departments and design new features and roadmaps for existing products. Next to this I am currently the global program manager for several global rollouts with fortune 100 clients.

Key Results:
Translated business requirements into designs that both worked with Quadrem and Partner solutions.
Created a framework for SupplyChain Financing solutions from both Quadrem and our business Partner for both financiers and clients.
Implemented electronic invoicing in 2 countries for one client with verification from the Tax authorities, 4 more countries are pending for Q3 this year
Created new roadmaps for existing products, new marketing materials, two white papers are pending

Within the Information Worker Group of Microsoft I worked on projects related to the Microsoft PeopleReady program. This program was created to demonstrate how technology could utilize technology better during work and home situations. To ensure people understood how this would be effective we created scenarios that demonstrated how a person uses technology during a regular day. Based on these scenarios we formulated the technology framework and designed the solutions for our clients. I personally was actively involved with three major clients in banking(ING), telecom(KPN) and consulting (Deloitte).

Key Results:
Managed implementation projects where scenarios where introduced utilizing our technology, the rules of engagement and obtained new skills.

Consulting was created when I resigned from IBM, I was requested to make my previous international experience for local clients. As a consultant I assisted in one startup, and two rescue operations for organizations that were almost bankrupt. These requests came from former PwC auditors that knew my state of service and recognized that I could assist them in the rescue operation. This practice is still operational and very successful. I however, returned to corporate life when I was asked to join Microsoft.

I reviewed and managed the design of new Oracle Apps based applications build by third party consultants and ensured that the design was up to standard and met newly created standards. I created new standards for client server programs and designed and trained other system managers for managing the databases under our supervision. Under the same standards we build a new computer centre that till today still houses the entire IT environment.

IBM has taken over all procurement work in the EU for one of the largest tire manufactures globally. Within this project I took the responsibility for the enablement of all procurement tools (e.g. Ariba), methodologies, and processes related to the used technology in the targeted countries. Part of the responsibility is managing the roll-out for all catalogues, the supplier adoption strategy, the commodity strategy and all functional enhancements to both the systems and processes. To ensure that this work complies to all local work and legal related dependencies there is a team in place in most of the targeted countries in the EU.

I managed the team that delivered the material, assisted during the development, created the training schedule and managed two trainers and also delivered the courses. The training was to be concluded by first week of August and we deliver our final training session that week.

In a global economy with dispersed user communities and constantly changing environments effective and efficient learning initiatives assist in delivering consistent messaging and cost effective change programs. The usage of technology and traditional delivery of courses and information sessions was seen as one of the key differentiators by many of our clients. After analyses of the market we concluded that the technology present at that time was only partly meeting the demands that we envisioned for our clients. Based on this I was requested to find an existing vendor that would partner with PwC to develop a hosted eLearning environment that would benefit both our organizations and our clients. I selected the partner and managed the functional and technical design and development for the new solution.

As the EMEA training managers and one of the key SME's on eProcurement in EMEA I was involved in large number of projects in roles ranging from Interim management, Auditor, SME, client engagement manager and trainer. I oversaw and delivered the training for all PwC consultants in EMEA and worked with project managers and team members in resolving project related issues. Next to this I was often asked by clients to deliver workshops and undertake other tasks to assist in delivering successful implementations. Some of the biggest clients I have been involved with were Unilever, Aventis, Goodyear Dunlop.
