After a successful career in the technical engineering sector, rising to executive level, he crossed over to the service sector in 1984, in the HR Outplacement and Regeneration fields. Becoming a Director in 1992, he single mindedly positioned the UK branch of the company for growth in the Outplacement market, achieving an MBO from the Parent Company in 1996, and its sale to Capita Plc in 1998, after achieving significant profits growth to £1m on T/O of £6.5m. This growth, from £3m to £6.5m in two years, he achieved by concentrating the company on core competencies, positioning in a growth market, building a successful marketing campaign and highly effective sales team. Prior to this he developed an International Regeneration Consultancy for the Company that is now achieving multi-million pound turnover mainly in Eastern Europe.

After these successes, he formed a new Marketing and Sales Company, and outbound call-centre, using latest technologies, carrying out marketing campaigns and market research for a number of blue-chips and public bodies. After developing this company over 1998 - 2000 and achieving T/O in excess of £600,000, it was successfully sold to a larger player. Currently, as Chairman of Motorwise Ltd., he has successfully repositioned this National Claims Management Company for growth, after achieving its refinancing and restructure. He has also achieved International success in establishing a flourishing Outplacement business in Poland, which is achieving rapid growth and is a member of several revered International Industry Bodies.
