·Director Western Europe, chello broadband (May ’03 – present).

Responsible for marketing and sales activities for chello broadband on the Western European markets, consisting of the UPC footprints in the Netherlands, Belgium and France. P&L responsible. With around 1.000,000 Internet subscribers in 10 countries, chello is one of Europe’s leading broadband Internet Service Providers.

·Manager Business line Internet, Sales & Marketing Consumer Market UPC Netherlands (August ’99 – April ‘03). Responsible for marketing and product management of the business line Internet (chello) for the residential and SOHO markets (2.4 million homes connected). UPC is the largest cable operator in the Netherlands and owns cable networks in 10 European countries.

·Director Marketing & Sales GelreVision (August ’97 - August ’99). Director of GelreVision Media Services BV, a regional cable operator in Gelderland. Responsible for all commercial activities and exploitation of the GAMOG cable network (133,000 homes connected), for both business and residential market. (UPC acquired GelreVision mid ‘99).

·Account Manager at Vos & Partners advertising agency, Hazerswoude-Rijndijk (December ‘96 - July ’97). Responsible for large accounts: e.g. Beter Bed (retail), Oogadviseur Opticiens (Optician) , Nederlandse Spoorwegen (Dutch Railways) and Staatsbosbeheer (Dutch Forestry Commission).

·Account Manager at PPGH/JWT Business Communications, advertising agency in Amsterdam (May ‘96 - November ’96). Responsible for large accounts: e.g. PTT Post (Dutch national Postal service), Corus Steel and RCC.

Explanation of last three positions

Director Western Europe, affiliate operations chello broadband
Ø Director of the marketing and sales department for the Western European markets, supporting the UPC affiliates in achieving subscriber, EBITDA and revenue targets. Within chello broadband, P&L responsible for all financial KPI’s for France, Belgium and the Netherlands. The chello Western Europe team includes 9 FTE covering the areas of marketing, finance, account management and portal management. Being part of the affiliate operations division, chello Western Europe core activities are the development of annual and quarterly marketing plans, the translation into marketing campaigns (TV, radio, print, outdoor, online, sales collateral) and the development of sales incentive programs as well as retention campaigns (e.g. newsletter, Member gets Member). In 2004, forecasted targets were accomplished, resulting in over 460,000 broadband Internet subscribers in the Western European market EOY. On the Dutch market, chello was awarded most popular internet brand in 2004 by the Dutch consumers. Besides marketing, the Western Europe department is also responsible for assisting UPC at the deployment of the sales channels used by UPC to sell chello (training, incentives, joint marketing efforts with retailers). In addition, chello Western Europe supports UPC at the launch and implementation of new products (from business cases/Marketing Service Descriptions to marketing, processes, customer support- and sales training).

Manager Business Line Internet, Sales & Marketing Consumer Market UPC NL
Ø Manager of the Business Line Internet for the residential and SOHO market. Managing the chello broadband Internet product division within the Netherlands. Responsible for all internet related operational processes including marketing, sales, product management and customer processes. Core activities are the development and execution of the marketing plan, realization of the chello sales and revenue targets of the UPC Business plan. Also responsible for internal processes, product descriptions, service definitions and product development. During this period the number of chello customers increased from 35,000 mid-1999 to well over 250,000 by the end of 2002. In 2002 the Dutch market contributed to 50% of the total number of chello customers in Europe on the residential market, which made chello Europe’s largest and leading broadband Internet provider. All 2002 targets were achieved. This position required a detailed knowledge of the UPC NL organization and customer processes.

Director Marketing & Sales GelreVision
Ø Manager of GelreVision Media Services BV (100% subsidiary of GAMOG), Deputy Managing Director of GelreVision and member of GAMOG management board. Responsible for starting up GelreVision Media Services BV in 1997 and for all commercial activities and exploitation of the GAMOG/GelreVision cable network (133,000 homes connected in the Gelderland and Flevoland area). Core activities of GelreVision Media Services BV were the development and implementation of broadband services (cable internet, Video on Demand, Pay-Per-View) and data-/telecom services for the business market. GelreVision Media Services was responsible for the entire product portfolio and all sales targets. GelreVision Media Services consisted of 10 FTE who were responsible for marketing, product management and sales.
