IMPLEMENTED PROJECTS

1/2007 till 4/2008: Interim Manager Human Resource Development & Changemanager ECI Bertelsmann Direct Group Benelux.
Purpose:
Launching at ECI a cultural program to a customer-and result-oriented company.
Restructuring of the HR Department. Launching Management Development Program (search for change-agents)

Action:
1. Professionalization of HR department: Optimisation of all HR processes and structures.
2. Launching of project GOAL: implementation of a new Performance Management System: Job grading system, KPI’s on results and behaviour, remuneration and working conditions (all via the Hay methodology).
3. Health, Safety and Environment project: reducing absenteeism.

The results:
1. Upgrade HR policy, administration and structures.
2. In close cooperation with Hay Group project GOAL, in which strategic goals where translated to HR dominant themes. Supervising managers change in thinking and abandon fixed paradigms. Develop new evaluation structures and remuneration packages with a focus on differentiation. Delivering on April 1, 2008.
3. New HSE policy. Implementation February 2008
4. Find a team of internal change agents and create an MD Program

2004/2005: Project Management Development Euroboek Middle Management (50 employees)Bertelsmann Direct Group Benelux.
Purpose:
Connecting middle to senior management, career development possibilities, reduction in turnover of middle management.

Action:
Assessment linked to core competencies and strategic goals through 2006
Individual Develop Plan linked to an MDP for high-potentials
Compensation adapted for this high-potentials
Feasibility career insight.

Result:
Less turnover in middle management
career development of executives to middle management
Increase the quality of leadership, translated into cohesive teams, reduces downtime
Teaching skills and presentation of the middle management developed
Communication skills (job, congregation skills, bad news calls).

2003/2004 Management Development Program (MDP) Apetito Netherlands BV
Purpose:
Increasing knowledge and skills MT Apetito Netherlands, regarding Sales skills and market knowledge. Strengthen the managerial skills.

Action:
Analysis of learning needs of the team and the individual
Creating and implementing individual and team sessions with an emphasis on situational leadership
Coaching a team for 1 year.

Result:
Understanding strength of each manager
Switch in thinking: out of the box instead of in restrictions
Modification of Management Team, the right man in the right place
Effective leadership to own team, also. Conflict management and decisiveness.


2002 Reorganization training academy Euroboek (Bertelsmann Direct Group) Vianen.
Purpose:
More efficient handling of reduced training budget
Raising quality of the training.

Action:
Training structure created within the organization (train the trainer - programs)
Manuals developed for sales, presentation and teaching skills.

Result:
Closing of of own training institute, cost reduction of € 130,000 p.a. on a budget of € 330,000.
All branches take care themselves of all basic training programs (sales, presentation)
Middle management executes more effective conversations, has been given more responsibility and carries within it more effective decisions.

2001: Management Development Program Euroboek (Bertelsmann Direct Group) Vianen for nine senior management and board members.
Purpose:
Develop and implement a Management Development program, focus on more autonomous working of management involved..

Action:
Assessments linked to key employees and strategic goals of the organization until 2004
Creation of Individual Develop Plans
MT-development, dealing with dilemmas, the ability to formulate vision, direction and project objectives
Personal programs: stretches work on acceptable weaknesses.

Result:
Enhancing personal effectiveness managers
Knowledge increase of managerial skills
Reduction of CPO (Cost per Order)
Increase the quality of leadership
Remuneration structure adapted to more stimulation.

2000: Developing and implementing training policy for 60 employees from Hill-Rom Vianen.
Purpose:
Increasing employee satisfaction, increasing knowledge and social skills. Enhancing the service and customer satisfaction. Improve the team spirit and collegiality.

Action:
Develop and implement a training plan for Technical Service, Inside Sales Deparment, Sales and Management (for 60 people)
Establishing education necessity inventory and most relevant triggers to lead them into goals
Synthesis of M.T.O. And strategic goals linked to education necessity
Design of project objectives for all training programs
Training plan for the various departments
Development of evaluation criteria
Negotiations with training institutes.

Result:
Improving customer service and Technical Service
Higher satisfaction employees mainly on mutual relations
