As TomTom’s International Media Manager my role was to devise, plan and implement TomTom’s spot and non-spot media strategy that supported all areas of activity (in 16 countries) and the strategic calendar.

I was reporting to the Global Head of Marketing and working closely with the Marketing and Brand Managers and in that role responsible for creating the media strategy, managing the media agency, conducting and leading annual negotiations (across all media types) and optimizing media planning.

In addition I was responsible for control in terms of campaign follow-up (impact and effectiveness) and for developing the ‘non spot’ strategy and of the implementation of this. And above all always ensuring that TomTom’s media portfolio is impactful, making use of the newest techniques and possibilities.

-Initiated and set up extensive Search Engine Advertising structure
-Initiated and set up Tracking study (with Daphne)
-Initiated Auditing of European Television performance with Accenture
-Initiated and set up a new media budgeting structure
