CIRSA Amusement Corporation, Barcelona, Spain
Cirsa Amusement Corporation is the leisure and entertainment division (one of the six divisions in total) of Cirsa Business Corporation, the multinational and multi-billion Euro gambling and entertainment group. Cirsa Amusement manages and operates FEC (Family Entertainment Centers) in Spain, Portugal, France and Sweden. The division generated sales of over € 20 million in 2001 and the total size of the team exceeds 400 people including staff, coordinators, managers, technical team and HQ executives.


January 2002 Director General (Managing Director)
· Maximum responsibility over P&L of the Division
· Hired directly by Vice-President of the Cirsa Corporation with the mission to turn-around the Division.
· Conducted in-depth market study of customers, employees and competitors.
· Designed 3 year Strategic Plan for the Division.
· Downsized organization via disposal of non-performing assets (centers).
· Decided to re-brand and re-focus all centers to improve results.
· Created the “Nex Youth Nation” brand
· Changed 80% of management team, hiring top executives from the entertainment/ fast-food sector
· Day-to-day management of 12 Senior managers and ultimate responsibility of team of over 500 people, mostly very young employees.
· Direct reporting to the Board of the Cirsa Corporation
· Started and leaded cultural change, from a “command & control” style to an empowered organization

LeatherXchange, Barcelona, Spain
LeatherXchange is The Service Provider for the leather and footwear industry. In only two years, LeatherXchange secured two rounds of finance, opened 11 international offices, acquired flagship customers like Nike, Reebok and Adidas and survived the technology and dotcom crisis. LeatherXchange expects to be profitable in Q4 2003.
