November 2008 - present CFO Grant Thornton Belgium. Grant Thornton Belgium is a member of Grant Thornton International, one of the world’s leading organisations in audit, tax, accountancy and advisory.

October 2006 – October 2008: CFO Rambagh furniture retail Administrative reorganisation of a retail company importing exclusive handmade furniture from the Far East and running 4 specialised furniture shops in the Brussels area.

October 2005 - September 2006: Robert Half Management Resources: Interim Management projects at Beaulieu International (production of floorcoverings) and Terre Bleu (fashion retail)

June 2004 - September 2005: CFO - Riverwoods: Riverwoods is a mixed retail and wholesale company for the creation, production and distribution of casual clothing of the brand Riverwoods with 25 Riverwoods shops and 250 customers in Belgium.
Realisations: Turn around management - introduction of a financial software system ( MBS Axapta ) - Implementation of budgettingsystems and financial and operational reporting. - Introduction of an organisation structure and recruiting additional key people. - General management in cooperation with the owners.

September 2001-June 2004 : CFO Fun Belgium: Fun is a retail company in seasonal products (toys, multimedia, school, baby and other seasonal products) that has expended through mergers and acquisitions from 4 shops in 2000 till 32 shops.
Realisations: Turn around management - introduction of a financial software system (Navision) - creation and implementation of budget system and the necessary operational and financial reporting systems (Applix TM1) - Negotiations with banks to become the necessary commercial credit lines. - Negotiations with a venture capitalist (Fortis Private Equity) to strengthen the capital structure. - Create and implement an operational inventory management system for all shops and the distribution enter fully integrated with the financial system. (Live since September 2003). This process was combined with a complete reengineering of all the business processes and procedures.

June 1977 - Aug 2001 CFO Retail Group Interiors for Europe - Carpetland has developed from 200 mio Bfr in 1977 (with 5 outlets) till in 2001 a multinational company with 400 outlets in Belgium, Luxemburg, France, The Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany and a total turnover of 17 billion Bfr - I have contributed to this evolution at executive level in different positions with different responsibilities. I have been responsible for the creation and the implementation of all administrative systems and procedures of the group. (Administration, accounting, finance and control, ICT, budgeting en reporting on operational level and at the level of the executive committee and the board of directors).
